Startup Weekend EuroSeattle : WHERE IDEAS AWAKEN!
- Friday night: 60-second pitches that
result in the formation of small teams around the best, most viable concepts.
We hope you’ll pitch, but definitely not required!
- Saturday and Sunday: Work
days! Teams focus on user research, customer development, validating
their ideas and building prototypes with the help of experienced coaches
from the entrepreneurial world. You’re welcome to stay
and work as long as the venue will allow!
- Sunday afternoon: Teams
demo their products and receive valuable feedback from a
panel of expert judges. Winning teams take home a grab bag of great
tools to help launch their company!
The winning teams will get fantastic prizes to help them mature their projects
- “The winning team receives a 30 minute one-on-one meeting with Chris DeVore, Managing Director of Techstars Seattle, the Pacific Northwest’s most selective startup accelerator, and co-founder and Managing Partner of Founders’ Co-op, the region’s leading seed-stage venture capital fund.”
- Geir Hansen Managing Director at Silicon Valley Bank offers one-on-one meeting with the 3 winning teams.
- Studion 5 Innovation offers:
“First Place: 18 hours of our time @ $ 150.00 / hour = $ 2,700.00
Second Place: 12 hours of our time @ $ 150.00 / hour = $ 1,800.00
Third Place: 6 hours of our time @ $ 150.00 / hour = $ 900.00
The idea is for the winning teams to use these hours in 2 hour increments (or more) to have us consult them as they develop their final product and go to market. We feel that this approach will provide them with ongoing support as they move forward. We feel this is of more use than offering them specific services.
ALL participants will receive a 10% discount on our services until the day BEFORE Startup Weekend EuroSeattle 2017."
- Sage offers a 1 year complimentary subscription to our Startup Product Sage One http://www.sage.com/us/sage-one to the winning team.
- Hing Hay Coworks offers coworking space to the winning team
May the Startup Force be with you!
