Coaches and Mentors
Deep experience bridging communication and build collaboration between technical teams.
Currently working primarily with private equity groups to evaluate market opportunity in digital investments.
Previous experience includes being the co-founder of PrestoBox, the world's first automated branding agency. Before that was Greenstar, a recycling company setting a new standard. Exited that company while it was being sold to Waste Management. Helped create the business while working for its private-equity parent company (NTR plc) in Europe.
An experienced Creative Director, he has spent his career developing an intuitive and user-centered approach to branding and design. He has worked in both agency and corporate in-house environments, with broad experience serving corporate, non-profit, and start-up clients. When he’s not designing and making beautiful things that people love, he is spending time with his lovely wife, mentees, and godchildren. If you ask his nieces, he reigns as the “world’s most coolest uncle!” #fact.
Andrew is a graduate of St. John's University School of Law.
Vittal started his career in the hotel and restaurant industry as a part of several family-owned businesses. He worked directly with employees, customers, and management to provide a stable foundation for sustainable growth through innovating online marketing, dynamic pricing, market research, and smart budgeting. Vittal continued the practice of business law out of law school in private practice and working in-house for a sports media company. Through this experience Vittal learned first-hand the challenges facing start-ups in sustaining growth, effective management, funding, and dealing with risks and liabilities.
I taught myself ASP (don't laugh) to create the Red Cat Social and Adventure Club (2002), taught myself PHP to create Banyan Email (2005), and then gave up and brought in the big technical guns for my last two companies! (FindYogaNow.com and AstroPrint.com) Evidently I'm much better strategizing and pitching than coding. Who knew?
An alum of the 500 Startups Accelerator in Mountain View, CA. #500Strong
Before shifting solely to tech, I treated 1000's of patients as an acupuncturist/herbalist, and cultivated the next generation of practitioners as a professor in a Masters program for Chinese Medicine.
