Build an amazing startup in Colorado Springs, all over the course of one weekend!

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to create a company in 54 hours? Wonder no more thanks to Startup Weekend Colorado Springs taking place November 11th - 13th. Startup Weekend started as a small gathering of entrepreneurs who worked on ideas and, over the course of one weekend, matured those ideas into a viable businesses. Since being founded in 2007, Startup Weekend events have taken place in cities and countries spanning the globe from South Africa to London and everywhere in between. In total, the event has been hosted in more than 700 cities and created 13k startups!

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams then organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of a panel of judges with another opportunity for critical feedback and a selection of the overall best team.

I found, fund, and drive the creation of high growth companies, primarily in high-tech, and data driven areas. I love the ability to disrupt markets that haven't moved in years with the leverage of technology and intelligence. I have pursued this goal in a number of markets that include real estate, finance, big data analytics, energy, healthcare (ouch), defense and first responder technology.

I love the power of data and technology to transform the efficiency and profitability of almost any industry sector.

I am passionate about Startups and how they drive our economy and future. I am committed to supporting, mentoring and doing everything I can to help good startups become growing companies.
