Josef Dunne

Josef is Founder & CEO of Babelverse (which aims to bring seamless communication between all languages) a startup that began at a Startup Weekend Athens in December 2010 and changed his life forever! Since then Startup Chile, 500 Startups and SV Angel invested in Babelverse. Today, Josef is currently based in London, which is also his hometown but has lived and visited many countries over the past 5 years including Greece, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Poland, San Francisco, New York, Japan, Ireland, Portugal, Spain, South Korea, Singapore, and recently Romania where he took his team to live and work for 1 month in a Transylvanian village, throughout this travelling he was growing the community of linguists and raising awareness of Babelverse and acquiring a lot of knowledge about starting up abroad and the differences between cultures.

Before Babelverse, he was a Web Developer working in a corporate environment for 5 years. He can assist you from business strategy, going global to web development and more.

Tudor Bastea

He is co-founder & CTO of the Timisoara-based startup 123ContactForm. This web form and survey builder with mobile support is ranked among top 5 applications of its kind worldwide and currently counts users from 190 countries. Tudor was born in the beautiful Transylvanian town of Sibiu and majored in Computer Science. He combines years of experience in the IT entrepreneurial industry with his out-of-the-box thinking and a genuine passion for human interaction.


Florin Cornianu

Florin is the co-founder and CEO of 123ContactForm, one of the top 5 online survey services in the world. After 3 years of work at Alcatel Lucent, in 2006 Florin decided to dedicate himself entirely to being a full time entrepreneur, together with his old friend, Tudor Baștea. In 2010, their main project, 123ContactForm, became an independent business. Florin took over the CEO role and started building the main directions for developing  his company in areas such as: marketing, client support, sales and business development.

Evgenios Skitsanos

Being software developer since 1992 and establishing in four years later his first web development company, today Evgenios runs few software and hardware design companies that inventing and innovating for large enterprises. Mayel de Borniol

Mayel calls himself glomad - in the past few years he has spent time in about 20 countries. He'd love to be able to speak dozens of languages, to communicate with everyone in the world. In the meantime he's working on Babelverse, a solution that quickly connects you with someone who speaks any language, who can help you remotely. He's been hacking together online platforms and communities since the mid-90s, and building startups for almost 10 years. But he's still learning every day.

Adela Cristea
Managing Partner Ascent Group

Adela is the co-founder and managing partner of Ascent Group, a consulting group of companies with headquarters in Romania and 7 offices in 4 countries within Eastern Europe. Adela studied both Economics and Law and also attended various scholarships abroad, in the USA, Germany and Belgium. 10 years ago, after 8 years of working in multinational companies and international consulting firms, Adela decided to move to enterpreneurship by launching a consulting group of companies that is advising entrepreneurs and managers who are starting new businesses or relocating business in the region. Grigorios Chatzikostas
Business Development Manager in BioSense Center

Grigoris works as a Business Development Manager in BioSense Center, trying to set up win-win collaborations among researchers, ICT companies and end-users. His experience includes writing (sometimes successful) proposals for EU funding and coordinating large-scale projects for the introduction of ICTs in agriculture and environmental monitoring. In the past 12 years he has managed projects of total value of ~30 mEUR. If you meet him in person, he will immediately start pitching about his current project, FRACTALS, an accelerator for SMEs and startups, which offers 50-150 kEUR (equity-free!) to teams with the best ideas for apps in the agrifood domain. He dreams of a world where geeks and farmers speak the same language…

Head of Sales @ HipMenu

Marius is head of sales at hipMenu, the marketplace for food delivery at you office and home. They are present in Cluj-Napoca and just launched in Timisoara, planning to expand in all Romania and beyond. He is an active member of Cluj-Napoca's startup community, mentoring different startups in the region. He can help you with sales, business development and business strategy.

Andrew Hyde
Startup Week Founder @ UP Global

Andrew Hyde was the first employee at Techstars, a mentorship-driven startup incubator, and is the founder of Startup Weekend.

Andrew grew up in Oregon and currently is a fulltime vagabond and minimalist.

He currently volunteers for a colorado dude ranch and is working on his cowboy walk.
