54 hours for changing city with us!

The next edition of Poznań Startup Weekend: Smart City, is on 12th – 14th June! We want to encourage you to look at the city through the prism of new technologies, their potential and the city's inhabitants.

Why Smart City? Nowadays, cities around the world are growing very quickly, but the changes don‘t take into account the needs of residents. Every day, people discover new technologies and our event, which is a good occasion to create and develop ideas that change our city-life.

During the event, mentors are going to help you develop business ideas connected with, among others: Internet of Things, smart transportation, ecology, government, payment solutions and much, much more.

* All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.
