Startup Weekend Islamabad

Friday, May 15 - 17, 2015

Friday, May 15 - 17, 2015
Event starts at 3:00 pm

Air University, Islamabad
PAF Complex, E-9
Islamabad, Pakistan

NO TALK. 54 HOURS AND ALL ACTION IN CAPITAL.

Startup Weekend is a global grassroots, nonprofit movement of active and empowered entrepreneurs who are learning the basics of founding startups and launching successful ventures. It is the largest community of passionate entrepreneurs with over 1800 past events in 120 countries around the world since 2011.

All Startup Weekend events follow the same basic model: anyone is welcome to pitch their startup idea and receive feedback from their peers. Teams organically form around the top ideas (as determined by popular vote) and then it’s a 54 hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing, and market validation. The weekends culminate with presentations in front of local entrepreneurial leaders with another opportunity for critical feedback.

You're not limited to any categories when it comes to your idea for the next best startup, so go wild! Lunch and drinks for the entire weekend are included in the ticket price.

Haseeb Riaz

Currently enrolled in Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering. I aim to pursue my dreams, even if i do not get them I'd still love to struggle for them. I believe that every person in this world is special in some way, however not everyone is lucky enough to get the best out of themselves. The main reason behind this misery is lack of awareness lack of exposure and a lack of intermingling with the ones’ who have something to share. I want to see people making themselves useful i want everybody to know things which caused us humans to prosper and advance technologically philosophically and spiritually. Other than all this and most of all i wish to learn as much as i can about what goes on in our society country and the world. For this thirst of knowledge is what motivates me and brings me the joy I've always been looking for. I want everybody to see the world from a new perspective and think creatively to come up with new ideas for it is the only thing which can 'CHANGE THE WORLD' and make it a better place not only for us but for the generation to come after us. ADIOS AMIGO.
