Without Tor Olav, there wouldn't be a Startup Weekend as he is in charge with securing sponsors. Sørgaard

Coaches and Mentors

Ingvild Kjörrefjord

Ingvild has extensive global experience in strategy, business planning and project management related to business development and innovation in emerging markets.

She has been part of a large strategic transformation programme in South Africa, global launch of strategic growth initiatives, emerging markets growth programme (Africa, Asia and Southern Africa) and supported various entrepreneurial programs. This has given Ingvild in-depth knowledge of sustainable business transformation. One of the areas she has focused on is the development of inclusive business strategies that balance economic, social and environmental factors.

Ingvild is not afraid to try the unconventional route and getting out of her comfort zone to learn more about untapped and unknown markets. Driven by an entrepreneurial mindset Ingvild actively seeks to develop and support new disruptive business models that will create sustainable change and new growth opportunities. This mindset led Ingvild to get on her bike to ride through the country side in Rwanda to explore the opportunities at the base of the pyramid.

After 10 years abroad 2014 Ingvild moved back to her hometown Bergen, Norway. She is currently working as an Senior Advisor for Innovation Norway Hordaland.
