In 2009, after 25 years in the business world, Filip decided it was time to “give back” by founding Hu-Bu, stimulating employee volunteering (people focus) and furniture recycling (planet focus). The results of the first 5 years show promising developments with already 6.000 volunteers and 10.000 furniture items having transitioned from the business world to the non-profit world.
